Com. Birendra Pal, resident of Bhatauli village in Bhojpur District, passed away untimely on the morning of 31 October 2018 at the age of 50. Com. Birendra was just 18-20 years old when his father passed away. Despite shouldering the entire responsibility for his family as the only son, he became closely associated with the Party in 1985-86 when feudal oppression was at its peak in the village. In the 1990s when the Ranveer Sena reared its ugly head, Com. Birendra Pal was at the forefront in leading the people in that struggle. On 2 January 1996 when the Ranveer Sena attacked Bhatauli village in broad daylight, Com. Birendra led the people against them and forced them to retreat as far as Bartiyar. He played a notable role in that struggle. Ever since his association with the Party, he never looked back and always remained at the forefront of every struggle. In the 2011 Panchayat elections he was Mukhiya of Ramasadh Panchayat and discharged his responsibilities immaculately. He was never daunted by the ups and downs of battle. The untimely demise of such a comrade is an irreparable loss for the Party. Red Salute to Comrade Birendra Pal!
Long live Comrade Birendra Pal!
